2. go to WAN
3. delete existing rows
4. add new row with following values:
4a. ATM PVC Configuration - VPI: 1 VCI: 32
4b. Connection Type - Bridging LLC/SNAP-BRIDGING
4c. Enable Bridge Service (checked) Service Name: pppoe_1_32
4d. Save
5. Save/Reboot (on WAN page)

The above steps will transfer control to your machine. Now, following steps prepare machine to connect with ISP and obtain Internet IP:

6. Create new connection (from network connections) (note that there is already one lan connection to the router; now we create a new connection to connect to the internet)
7. Select - Connect to the internet
8. Select - Setup my connection manually
9. Select - Connect using a broadband connection that requires a username and password
10. ISP Name: whatever
11. Username: xxxxx@bairtelbroadband.in Password: - this info you can get from airtel
12. Finish

In the lan connection:
IP: 192.168.1.2
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
DNS: get from airtel

Now, keep the lan connection active always. And the internet connection will have the ip accessible from internet. This will be static as long as this connection is active. You can see this from ipconfig (on command prompt). Run http server on port 80 and try accessing from your own machine with the internet ip. You can configure windows firewall to allow connections to come in through other ports.

hope this helps.
